Social Media

Scroll-Stopping Stories
Social media isn't just about posting. It's about creating moments that make people stop mid-scroll and pay attention. My strategy blends bold visuals with authentic storytelling to turn everyday content into conversations. From eye-catching graphics to videos that actually get watched, I craft social content that sparks connections, builds communities, and makes brands feel like people, not logos.
MOS: Gift or Cash
Street interviews? They're tough. Getting strangers to stop and chat with a camera crew feels like pulling teeth. Until we threw on a costume and started handing out cash and gifts. Suddenly, everyone wanted in. The stunt didn't just grab attention, it brought our holiday money moment statistics to life in a way that felt real, fun, and totally shareable. Sometimes the best way to make a point is to make it impossible to ignore.
Saving Smashes
Triple threat mode activated. For this one, I was the talent, producer, and editor. Basically, a one-woman production crew. Sports hobbies come with some seriously expensive price tags, and gym memberships can drain your wallet fast. So we "smashed" tennis balls at those expensive fees and showed people how to find smarter ways to stay active without going broke. Because financial wellness shouldn't mean sacrificing the things that keep you moving.
50-50 Pledge
When you get to work with a legend, you make it count. We teamed up with Breanna "Stewie" Stewart, New York Liberty WNBA superstar and Unrivaled co-owner, at Art Basel to spotlight Ally's 50-50 pledge, a commitment to reach equal spend in media across men's and women's sports. The mission? Capture the magic of this partnership and let Stewie's words do the heavy lifting. We pulled those golden nuggets that hit different, and crafted a story that showed why investing in women's sports isn't just the right move, it's the winning one.
Summer Adventure
Summer on a budget? Challenge accepted. Coming up with cheap summer activities is one thing, but making them actually engaging for social media is a whole other beast. So we borrowed a trending format where people choose between two options on cards and gave it our own financial twist. We curated activities you could do for under $25, let the cards decide our fate. The result? Proof that you don't need to break the bank to have an unforgettable summer.
Captain's Inner Thoughts
Ever seen Key and Peele's Obama translator sketch? We borrowed that energy for CMPD. When car break-ins started spiking across Charlotte, the department needed a way to get people's attention about something frustratingly simple—lock your doors and don't leave valuables in plain sight. So we gave a CMPD Captain an inner monologue that said what he was really thinking about people making it easy for thieves. We tapped into a cultural moment, added some comedic relief, and turned a serious public safety message into something people actually wanted to watch on Facebook. Sometimes the best way to get through to people is to make them laugh.
Run Run Rudolph
"Can you turn the lights on?" It's the question every officer gets asked. So we turned that everyday curiosity into a full-blown holiday light show, with patrol cars as our stage. One officer played master coordinator while we orchestrated an entire fleet of police lights into what looked like a perfectly synced holiday spectacle. Finding the right upbeat, universally festive song was its own challenge, but we nailed it. Here's the secret though: those lights weren't actually flashing to the beat in real time. We created that magic in post-production, editing every blink and flash to match the music. The result? A feel-good holiday moment that turned patrol cars into entertainment and reminded people that cops are human too.
The Badge
This one holds a special place in my heart. The challenge? Our star wasn't a person; it was the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's iconic "hornets" badge. We wanted to capture the weight and honor of that moment when the badge gets pinned, so we got creative. We partnered with a local news anchor to bring the script to life, giving it that gravitas it deserved. The payoff? This video has become a staple, playing at every promotion ceremony, officer graduation, and badge pinning since. Sometimes the best stories aren't about people, they're about what people stand for.
Fly Carolina
Aviation is one of my many passions, so this project was pure joy. Fly Carolina Aviation School needed content to recruit future pilots, and I wasn't about to let them settle for boring stock footage. We strapped a few GoPros to one of their aircraft and took to the skies. Capturing takeoffs, landings, and those breathtaking views that remind you why people fall in love with flying. The footage didn't just promote a flight school, it bottled up that freedom-in-the-clouds feeling and turned it into a recruitment tool that actually makes you want to learn how to fly.
The Soccer Tournament
The Soccer Tournament
When you get face time with a USA Soccer legend, you make every second count. We partnered with Heather O'Reilly at The Soccer Tournament to spotlight Ally's commitment to the 50-50 pledge, equal investment in men's and women's sports. The shoot was a two-parter: first, we captured Heather doing man-on-the-street interviews with real event attendees, bringing that authentic energy only a legend can deliver. Then we built a highlight reel that bottled up all the excitement, adrenaline, and community vibes of TST. The goal? Show up for women's sports in a big way.
Avoid These Scammers
Avoid These Scammers
Scam prevention content? Usually boring. Making it engaging? Well, we leaned into the viral "choose your fighter" trend and flipped it into "avoid these scammers." Here's where it gets fun: we used one talent to play all three scammer characters, then worked some quick masking magic in post to bring them all together in one frame. My favorite touch? The purple gloves. We wanted these characters to feel like cartoons, intentionally vague and racially ambiguous, so the focus stayed on the scam tactics, not the person. Sometimes the best way to tackle a serious topic is to make it playful, relatable, and just a little bit weird.
End of Year Buckets
EOY Buckets
Data doesn't have to be a snooze-fest. The challenge? Take year-end user spending bucket data and turn it into something people actually wanted to watch. We went all-in on animation and bold text, showcasing how many Ally users named their spending buckets the same things and what they were saving for. It was a heavy lift: sourcing tons of photography, building out animations, and making sure every frame kept the energy up. The payoff? We transformed spreadsheet stats into a story about real people and their financial goals. Proof that even the driest data can come to life when you add a magic.
Ghost Your Ex
Ghost Your Ex
Halloween is spooooooooky! But your finances shouldn't be. We jumped on another TikTok trend and gave it our own financial twist. The concept was beautifully simple: one headline, one message: "Ghost your ex, not your budget," reminding people to stay focused on what actually matters in life. We kept the shoot minimal, letting the costume and the message do the heavy lifting. And yes, that's me under the ghost sheet, proving that sometimes the best content doesn't need a big production, just a good idea and the willingness to look ridiculous for the sake of the bit.
